Rest stops, stages, controls
There are 13 checkpoints along the route. Each control includes a refreshment service generally provided by inns, hotels or bars; in these cases the service is paid for by the cyclist. At some controls, indicated below, the service is provided in agreement with volunteer associations and the cost is already included in the registration fee.
Catering services are guaranteed at the times scheduled for the passage, including at night. These times are specified in the information for each stage and have been established taking into account the average, minimum and maximum speeds of the cyclists.
For the Fusine checkpoint in Valromana and the Feltre checkpoint, we have set up collaborations with volunteers or organisations and have covered the cost, which is therefore included in the participation fee and not to be paid on the spot. In Fusine there are two stages, before and after the arrival in Ljubljana, while Feltre is the penultimate stage. Comfortable dormitories are available in both, in Fusine there are showers, which are not available in Feltre.
The other dormitory is available in Villabassa where you pass twice, for the first 300 km and for the 900 km. In this case, a mattress is recommended. In total, therefore, there are 3 dormitories, but with 5 passes in total.
We will try to ensure a sufficient number of electrical sockets for charging devices.
